To instil values of compassion and responsibility towards pets, ProDiet, a leading cat food brand, recently conducted a transformative school visit program at S.J.K (C) Serdang Baru (2). With over 1,700 students, this initiative aligned seamlessly with ProDiet’s commitment to the welfare of animals, emphasising humane treatment and education.
At the heart of ProDiet’s ethos lies a core value—caring. This principle, is one of its foundational beliefs, resonates deeply with the essence of the school visit program. Beyond being a purveyor of premium pet nutrition, ProDiet is dedicated to community building, championing pet care, and animal welfare through multifaceted channels.
Throughout the interactive sessions, ProDiet shared invaluable insights with the students, covering essential topics for responsible pet care. From understanding the life stages of cats to the dos and don’ts of caring for them, students were equipped with practical knowledge aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of pet welfare.
In addition to ProDiet’s educational endeavours, the program welcomed the collaboration of Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM). While ProDiet focused on imparting knowledge about pet care, SAFM extended the conversation to encompass compassion towards strays and general animal welfare.
As the school visit program drew to a close, it left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of the students, instilling in them not just knowledge but a profound sense of responsibility and empathy towards animals. In essence, ProDiet’s initiative transcends the boundaries of traditional education, shaping the future generation into compassionate stewards of the animal kingdom.
