Another step in our CSR Program towards helping special NGO’s! Our 2nd Pet World Charity Sponsorship managed to provide 3 different representatives from Save a Stray, Lost Animal Souls Shelter & Stray Cats Rescue & Treatment Community Help with Wet food sponsorship for both Cats and Dogs.

On September 4 2014, Pet World Marketing successfully hosted its Pet World Marketing 2nd Charity Sponsorship Program 2014 at Pet World headquarters, Shah Alam. The Charity Sponsorship was proudly continued this time for 3 different NGO Animal Shelters to help ease their food burden while creating awareness to the public about their efforts to save, rehabilitate and re-home stray animals. In their efforts to encourage more responsible care taking for stray animals, the press conference made a swift start at 10.30 am, the event was followed by a light lunch for the sponsored representatives as well as invited guest from the press and staff members.

This year, Pet World Marketing is motivated to strengthen bonds with local NGO animal shelters. Through their efforts, they have progressed into a more indept understanding of stray animals whilst doubling their efforts in 2014 with over 2000 stray dogs and 800 stray cats in comparison to 2013 with a total estimated donation of 36 Tons of Pet food to all shelters & individuals in need. This program has managed to successfully supply a total donation of 22 Tons of dry food and 8 Tons of wet food for both dogs and cats.

The press conference gave way for the 3 selected NGO’s to speak about their animal shelters and the various plans each one had for their shelter. As each shelter works towards a more educational approach to tackle stray animals within our communities, each shelter organises their own adoption drives, Food Banks Programs, and rescue missions. “We have successfully sponsored various NGO around the nation and this year we are on a mission. We are proud to be able to help in food sponsorships throughout the year, even in a small way. We hope to continue our efforts as we are moving towards humanisation of our pets into our lives.” Emphasized Pet World Marketing team.

Apart from this program, Pet World Marketing will be working alongside veternarians and their trusted community members to work on a program to start educating people about the various ways we can help stray animals around our neighbourhoods. Pet World Marketing believe that giving back as much as possible would be able to encourage others to follow in their footsteps and to get stray animals off the streets and into loving homes.
